This project aims to empower women in slum communities to establish small businesses and income-generating activities, to be able to provide for themselves and their own children with necessities such as clothing, shelter and food.
The project also provides vocational training for adolescents at risk of falling into patterns of teenage pregnancy, delinquency or street-living. Most of these adolescents are girls and already parents themselves. This project will ensure that future generations are self-sufficient and supported by sustainable livelihoods. Read Angela's story.
