Lynne is currently the Chief Executive Officer of TOybox UK and the Chair of the Board of the Toybox USA Foundation. Prior to joining Toybox, Lynne held Director roles in the UK and international not-for-profit sector, including at World Vision UK and Spurgeons where she was the Marketing and Fundraising Director. Lynne has sat on the board of several national charities including Livability and the Consortium for Street Children.
Lynne has transformed Toybox into a leading voice in the sector on street children’s rights that is helping to change the lives of hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children globally. She was instrumental in creating the organisation’s innovative birth registration programme which began in Guatemala in 2013 and has since expanded to four countries. In addition to leading Toybox, Lynne has vast experience of mentoring and is currently working with numerous talented young women forging their careers in the not-for profit sector.
Lynne has a personal passion to ensure that Toybox has a positive impact on every child we engage with while creating a culture which allows a skilled, independent and creative team prepared to fight for the rights of street children.
In January 2022 Lynne was awarded an Order of the British Empire for her services to children.
To me, courageous is all about changing yourself before you expect others to do so!
Sarah's work experience is in the non-profit and education sectors with past roles including program development and management, executive support, human resources, and operations. Sarah has worked for a variety of museums, colleges, universities, and her current position is at a community hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon. Sarah has a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy and enjoys problem solving and process improvement. Sarah is thrilled to support the organization through her service as President of the Toybox USA Foundation.
To me, Courageous is being bold and exploring new ways of thinking, doing, and being. Being courageous entails acknowledging our vulnerabilities and continually moving forward with a positive mindset.
Erika has a strong background in non profit and governmental work. As a Program Analyst for the City of Oakland, California, Erika worked for three different departments over seven years; which included poverty issues, anti-violence campaigns and ending Homelessness. Currently, Erika is member of the Ending Homeless team as a Senior Community Development Specialist with the Community Development Commission of Sonoma County. Erika believes that working in the local government agencies has made her a better community member as well as making her aware of the important issues that affect people and communities worldwide. Erika has a Masters Degree from the University of London (School of Oriental and African Studies). Her commitment to social justice makes her honored to be a board member for Toybox and work towards its mission.

Brenna Kutch (they/them or she/her) has a career in human resources and organizational inclusion, reflecting their passion for creating excellent workplaces for employees to do their best work towards a better world. They are currently the Director of Talent, Equity, and Culture at the Center for International Environmental Law; previously worked with USAID, Mercy Corps, and Portland State University; and volunteer for various organizations advocating for LGBTQI, gender, and social justice. Brenna holds a Masters in Public Administration in HR Management from Portland State University. She is delighted to use her privileges and skills to serve the mission and partners of Toybox.
Courage is doing what's right, not what's easy, even if you're the only person in the room standing up. And chances are, someone else who couldn't quite get there themselves will see you and be inspired by your courage.
Naomi has worked in the non-profit sector for the past fifteen years in a variety of roles, both domestic and international. Her key skills include; event management, campaign and relational marketing, donor development and media management. Naomi's current role at The Toybox UK Charity includes all aspects of public engagement from social media to direct mail including the development of a donor development strategy and people management.
Naomi is exceptionally skilled at finding solutions to problems; practical and theoretical. Additionally she is capable of working with a team of individuals and getting the best out of them.
To me, being courageous means breaking all the rules for all the right reasons!
